General

Guttridge introduce the new Carier range of conveyors offering throughputs between 40 and 100tph of cereals. Designed using the latest 3D modelling software, the new range is suitable for handling a wide range of free flowing and semi-free flowing products, but is aimed primarily at the farming and commercial grain store market. Drawing on nearly 50 years of experience in the design and manufacturing of chain and flight conveyors for a wide variety of industries from cereals to heavy industry, Guttridge have produced a range which optimises throughput whilst minimising cost but without compromising build specification.

Specification

Supplied in galvanised finish as standard, this new range incorporates European DIN specification steel bushed chain and flight assembly with a well proven track record. The new all galvanised design is offered in two casing widths to cover the throughput range. The use of shaft mounted gearmotor drives also provides a low maintenance and compact arrangement with minimal loss of efficiency.

All models incorporate noise reduction features for quieter running and cleaning flights for minimal product residue. At the drive end there is a flanged outlet, support foot on the end plate and bolted access panels both sides which can be fitted with sight glasses at nominal extra cost. At the tail end the chain tensioners are inboard for ease of access and planning in and can be fitted with springs to maintain the chain in constant tension. A loose top inlet is also included with internal shedder and plain cover plate.

Chain & Flight Assembly Features: Integral pressed flights on every outer link  Cleaning flights fitted to connecting links at 6m centres to clean the casing and centre the chain Options: Recycle cups incorporated into the connecting link are the perfect solution to reduce product carry over at the drive end of a chain and flight conveyor

Construction and Finish   Features: Fabricated from mild steel pre-galvanised sheet and suitable for outdoor installation UHMW Polyethylene chain support wear strips (top and bottom)   Options: Stainless steel casing construction

Drive End & Drive Unit Features: Fitted with 8 tooth hardened steel sprocket keyed to shaft Shaft mounted right angled gearmotor laying along the side of the conveyor Speed to suit model and throughput Bolted cover plates in sides of drive end Options: Inspection/sight glasses in place of cover plates Diaphragm switch or capacitance sensor for choke protection

 

Intake Options*   Options: Mechanical intake  Trench intake  Both mechanical and trench intakes provide variable intake capacity by either speed adjustment or a mechanical regulator The trench intake is usually mounted flush with the floor
