General

The Easyflo is a free standing mobile screw elevator with an integral loading hopper. A rotating paddle inside the loading hopper loosens the hopper contents and assists the feed into the tubular screw elevator section. The Archimedean screw then elevates the material and discharges it into processing or packaging machinery as required. This assisted feed action makes the Easyflo ideal for handling a huge range of materials - those with poor material flow characteristics or materials which compact or bridge easily as well as very free flowing materials.

Specification

The Easyflo is designed for easy cleaning and maintenance - a unique quick release clamping system is used to connect the outer screw tubes, whilst slip-fit joints connect the screw sections. The system is robust and ideal for regular wet or dry cleaning regimes - essential in today's modern factories. The ability to handle a huge range of different materials adds to the versatility of this popular machine. Manufactured with contact parts in 316 stainless steel.

Typical Applications

Typical applications include feeding Auger Filling Machines and other packaging machinery, dosing machines, mixers, processing machinery. Common feeding methods are from manually tipped sacks, drums and boxes, bulk bags, IBCs.

Intermediate Support Bearings   Options: Various bearing materials available, for example nylon, polyethylene and ceramic

Machine Range & Capacities

Typical throughput capacity is in the region of 3.5m³/hr but is very dependant on material characteristics. Discharge height is a limiting factor and the machine is subject to an overall maximum of 5 metres. The machine is available in 75mm, 100mm and 125mm sizes.
