A new science title has been launched specifically for professionals within the bioenergy market
Biofuels, published by Future Sciences, is a new journal that aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the renewable energy sector, featuring the latest news, reviews and interactive debate.
Future Sciences, which publishes a range of scientific information sources in the UK, said it decided to produce the Biofuels journal as the environmentally-friendly fuel alternative continues to develop at "an unprecedented rate".
The launch also marks the start of an extended portfolio of environmental titles that will focus on research and developments within the industry.
"Environmental, economic and social sustainability are inseparably linked to a sustainable supply of energy," said senior editor Yusuf Christi.
"As readily useable, potentially environmentally benign and a renewable form of energy, biofuels are poised to contribute to our energy supply in a meaningful way."
A rising world population and changing diets have resulted in several EU initiatives to drive the production of sustainable energy, increasing the demand for biofuel research.
