UK Manufacturers involved in the food processing and animal feeders industries are being invited to Mexico for a global gathering.

The third annual Global Feed and Food Congress will be held in Cancun from April 21st to 23rd where attendees will be given the chance to explore the theme ‘The Food Chain: From Farm to Table’.

Sponsored jointly by the International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF) and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (UNFAO), the event will feature exhibitors from across the animal feed and food sectors.

IFIF chairman Dave Cieslak told drovers.com the congress will be the leading event for the feed industry in 2010.

"You can connect with colleagues and others working within the feed and food production systems while also receiving the latest updates on issues impacting your business from today’s foremost experts in the field," he commented.

Visitors will be able to learn about the entire food chain process from the growing of raw materials to industrial processing using sieves, mixers and metering screw feeders.

However, if you can’t make it over to Mexico, Britain’s own Foodex convention for 2010 will be running at the Birmingham NEC Arena from March 21st to 24th this year, attended by representatives from across the food and farming industry. ADNFCR-2798-ID-19608306-ADNFCR
