is preparing to ask local stakeholders for feedback on plans to build a new superdairy in Aylesbury this week.
Flexible bulk containers may soon be in use at the 70-acre site, if approval is granted in Ashton Clinton.
Speaking to FoodManufacture.co.uk, an Arla Foods spokesperson indicated that the company is keen to canvas local opinion on December 9th and 10th.
She told the publication: "We have an agreement in place with the land owner, which was why we put out a statement in September, but we have yet to submit the full planning application.
"We're working very closely with the local council and residents."
The new £150 million dairy will become the first zero carbon milk processing facility if it is approved.
Arla initially revealed plans to build the new dairy in November 2009, while the company has been keen to involve the local authority since the early stages.
Speaking following the initial revelation of the superdairy's new location, Arla project director Jakob Nielsen explained that discussions were underway with the council to establish the scope of the development.
It is expected that the new dairy will create 500 new production distribution and administration jobs.
