Welsh plastics manufacturers are being encouraged to use more recycled material in their processes to help save money and look after the environment.

The Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) Cymru says that only 25 per cent of firms in the sector are using recycled plastic, according to Plastics & Rubber Weekly.

This follows news that a new initiative, the Construction Recycling Alliance, has been set up to help companies in the UK building sector access recycled materials and send less waste to landfill.
