Bulkflo Mobile Screw Elevator General The Bulkflo is a free standing mobile screw elevator with an integral 400 litre loading hopper. A horizontal discharge screw feeds the screw elevator which can then discharge material into processing or packaging machinery as required. The Bulkflo is ideal for providing buffer storage and subsequent elevating of a wide range of bulk materials - those with poor material flow characteristics as well as free flowing materials. Specification The Bulkflo is designed for easy cleaning and maintenance - a unique quick release clamping system connects the outer screw tubes, whilst slip-fit joints connect the screw auger sections. The system is robust and ideal for frequent wet or dry cleaning regimes - essential in today's modern factories. Special inlet hoppers and other options allow a variety of configurations making the Bulkflo a very versatile machine suitable for many powder handling and general bulk solids handling applications. Standard Features and Options Some standard features and common options are listed below, but we can customise the Bulkflo in many different ways to suit customer requirements.

Product Suitability

Typical applications include feeding Auger Filling Machines and other packaging machinery, dosing machines, mixers, processing machinery. Common feeding methods are from manually tipped sacks, drums and boxes, bulk bags, IBCs etc. Guttridge Bulkflo mobile screw elevators are in operation in many different industry sectors and countries handling a variety of bulk materials.

Machine Range & Capacities

Typical throughput capacity varies from 1.5 - 12m³/hr, depending on material characteristics and elevating screw size. Discharge height is a limiting factor and the machine is subject to an overall maximum of 5 metres. Elevating screw sizes of 75mm, 100mm, 125mm and 150mm are available.
